Special thanks to Khun Joseph Chia (EMBA 2008), Executive Vice President at Bank of China Thailand (BOCT), for joining us as a guest speaker in the HKMU SEAi Thailand Program for Hong Kong Metropolitan University on March 3, 2026, at Sasin School of Management.
During the session, Khun Joseph shared valuable insights on “Offshoring Strategies for Chinese Companies,” offering participants a practical perspective on how Chinese firms expand and operate internationally.
This session was part of the Southeast Asia Immersion (SEAi) Program, which welcomed 69 executives from Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU). The SEAi program is a short, immersive learning experience designed for high-potential business leaders from around the world who seek a deeper understanding of the business landscape and cultural dynamics of rapidly emerging Southeast Asia.

Congratulations to Khun Pote Harinasuta (EMBA 2008)

Congratulations to Khun Pote Harinasuta (EMBA 2008), CEO of One Asset Management, on his appointment as the new President of the Association of Investment Management Companies (AIMC). Notably, he becomes the youngest president to hold this position in the association’s history.
AIMC is a non-profit organization in Thailand representing asset management companies across mutual funds, private funds, and provident funds. As the industry’s central body, it plays a vital role in promoting professional standards, supporting regulatory compliance, and fostering collaboration between member firms and regulators to strengthen Thailand’s investment management sector.
